The recent months I spent much time for my new blogs: Stadtbahn-Blog Berlin, Stefans Eis-Rezepte and The Susuh Blog (currently all of them are written in German). After working hard on them—design, theming, adding the right plug-ins and some SEO—now it’s time to update my first blog.

I like colors and a minimalist design. I combined both in it but also added the common blog elements which were missing before. For all my projects, I try to keep it simple. Design, usability or code—I believe they’ll get a better quality if you stay DRY (“don’t repeat yourself”) and simple.

As I enjoyed using open source Software (like Ruby on Rails, WordPress and all the plug-ins), I want to give something back and release some of my code which was useful for me here. The first one is a TextMate plug-in for Rails I18n on the fly. That’s why I decided to write most of the content in English now.
